Pearl Jam will hit the road this summer in Europe and in the US without releasing a new album. In an interview wit Billboard.com, Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready said, “People still want to see us and we’re having fun doing it, The last year-and-a-half run was a long one for us. We’re all getting a little bit older and having families. But these seemed like good opportunities, so we’re going to take them,” but also added, “That being said, we’re probably not going to go out for another year-and-a-half tour for the rest of our lives.”
Now I’m not sure I get it. Are they touring for the fun of performing or the fun of cashing that big check at the end?
