“28 Weeks Later”

I remember watching “28 Days Later” for the first time. I remember thinking about how good the story is, how simple and well done the movie was. So naturally, a sequel is produced. Ray Bennett of Reuters describes “28 Weeks Later” as a ferociously entertaining thriller with sympathetic characters, stunning set pieces and pulsating excitement. The plot (not unlike the first movie) is about a virus that turns people into raging zombies, only now it happens six months after Britain is declared infection free. Danny Boyle who directed “28 Days Later,” and Alex Garland who wrote the 2002 thriller are the executive producers of “28 Weeks later” which was directed by Spanish director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo. The movie will be in theatres on May 11.
