First, a Disclaimer: I do not work, nor am I getting paid by AOL. I wish I would have, but I’m not.
Having said that, I find myself amazed by the services they have to offer. Only a few days ago I wrote about their AIM Phoneline, and today I found out they also offer a free Virus Protection. To get all these services you have to have an AOL account, and you are all set.

It’s Free, So It’s Worth Reading…

I don’t really know when did AOL started this, and i know it is most likely that I am a very late bloomer, but i figured I’ll write about AIM Phoneline, just in case I’m not the only one left behind. So what is AIM Phoneline?
Some of its features include:
  • A personal, local phone number, with always-on voicemail, that’s yours to use any way you want,
  • Unlimited incoming calls free,
  • Identity Protection: If you need a phone number to submit a request for a quote for something, or just don’t want to give your number to someone you just met, you give this number and whenever someone leaves a message, you will get an email to your AOL account. of course, you can upgrade this service and use the number as a regular phone.
Moreover, I think it is extremely cool and think you might too.
