Screen Legend’s Son’s Reply Not Likely To Spur Another Stroke

In an interview for a new TV special, Michael Douglas was prompted to respond to his father’s question regarding his parenting skills. Not likely Kirk was counting on Michael’s honest, yet cool/calculated response. Or was he?
In the TV special, Kirk asks, “Was I a good father?” and, after a lengthy sharp intake of breath, Michael responds, “You have ultimately been a great father… but fatherhood would not have been one of the highest parts of your resume early on.”
Looks like the Douglas’ team might have one more Oscar in them after all, maybe a collective family “On Golden Pond” drama piece. “It Runs In The Family” didn’t quite cut it at the box office.
